In most countries,/ attempting to escape from prison/ is considered to be an extremely serious crime,/

대부분의 국가에서/ 감옥에서 탈출하려고 시도하는 것은/ 매우 심각한 범죄로 여겨진다/ 

and prisoners who choose to do so are likely to have their original sentences significantly lengthened.

그래서 그렇게 하기로 선택한 죄수들에게는 그들의 원심이 상당히 길어질 수 있다.

Not so in Mexico, however:/

그러나 멕시코에서는 그렇지 않다/

Mexican law is based on the underlying philosophy/ that all people possess _________________________________________
멕시코 법률은 철학에 기반한다/ 모든 사람들이 ____________________________ 을 가지고 있다는 

Thus, a prisoner caught while trying to escape from a Mexican prison/ is likely to go unpunished.

그러므로,  멕시코 감옥으로부터 탈출하려다 붙잡힌 죄수는/ 처벌받지 않을 수 있다.

Of course, there are some people in Mexico/ who oppose this policy,/ perceiving it as major weakness in their country's justice system.

물론 멕시코에는 몇몇의 사람들이 있다/ 이 정책에 반대하는/ 그것을 그들 국가의 사법 시스템의 주요한 약점으로 인식하면서 

However, there are many others/ who wholeheartedly support it,/ believing that it protects the basic human rights of prisoners.

그러나, 많은 다른 사람들이 있다/ 그것을 전적으로 동의하는/ 그들은 그것이 죄수들의 기본적 인권을 보호해준다고 믿는다(생각한다)
